Thames Charters, based on the Eastern side
of the Coromandel Peninsula between Kopu and Coromandel.
Located 1 hour from Auckland and 1 hour from Hamilton.
 The
boat "Fish 4 T" is a multi purpose 8m boat that can
comfortably fish 6 anglers. There is a toilet and
shelter on board. Specializing in Fishing, Diving, Cruising
or Sightseeing.
Trev (the skipper) has 30 years experience
fishing on the Firth of Thames and knows the local fishing
spots. Trev charters from Kopu, Thames Coast, Waikawau,
Kereta and other locations on request. Why drive all
the way to Coromandel on the windy hill when you can go by
water?
Fish the Firth of Thames, Mussel farms,
Hauraki Gulf and Coromandel Islands. The type of fish
you are likely to catch are snapper, kahawai, king fish,
trevally, John Dory, gurnard. Crayfish
and scallops (in season) are plentiful for the divers. |

Thanks for another awesome days fishing. We
caught all our quota snapper in just under
record time of three hours. This was a personal
best for me and the lads. We just couldn't
believe it. The blood was pumping and the fish
was biting. My eye's couldn't believe some of
the huge fish we were pulling up were a easy 3
to 6 kg.
What made the day even more spectacular was that
we were fishing right next to the mussel barges
with say five other charters boats but we were
the only ones pulling up these monster
snappers. Yeahaaaaaaaaa

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the other day.
Although it was a very slow and unproductive
fishing for most of the day, but you've gone out
of your way in order for us to catch fish. It
was amazing to see how many different spots you
took us in order to find the desired species. I
take my hat off to you and the passion and
desire that you've got to keep your clients
happy! The guys fully enjoyed the trip, and will
definitely be joining me in the near future on
one of your charters.

I highly recommend
Trevs charters for lady groups. Trev does the
baiting, unhooking ikying and he keeps you
entertained with his smile and quick wit. Never
a dull moment as you can see from my friends

had another FANTASTIC day on the water!!! My
sisters loved the experience and are both
looking forward to another charter ... there
were plenty of fish for family and friends so we
didn't miss the ones that were left on the boat

Me!!!, Thanks so much
for an unforgetable trip out. We all appreciated
your willingness to bait the hooks (especially
our ladies) and fix line malfunctions. Going out
in the boat with you was a pleasure and your
enthusiasm at "us" catching fish thick and fast
was exhilarating! The pictures tell it all and
my friends at work can't get over how calm and
peaceful the water was that day. We are
definitely coming back for more (ladies trip)
and we might invite the husbands on the trip
after that (maybe, haha). I am happy that
my dream of catching the "big one" was realised
and immortalised in print.

I have now been out with Trev. 4 times. We have
caught our limit 3 trips out of 4. We didn't do
too bad on the last trip either ( My wife caught
a bigger fish than me!) Trev is so obliging, and
he wants you to catch fish. I am an experienced
fisho, and can highly recommend Fish 4 T. Any

Dear Trev, We thank you for a wonderful day
and also for your concern about us in the camper
on the beach. Everything was fine but the best
thing was eating that beautiful fish (with the

Team Novices from Te Awamutu thank you and 'Fish
4 T' charters for a totally awesome experience.
Made up predominantly of mature females with our
two young teenage males we all had a great time
and most entertaining day. (we pretty much were
the entertainment!) We had only just driven a
few meters down the road and the crew were
planning their next outing! This is all due to
the great hosting and care you gave us during
our stay with you. We recommend your services
to all persons (especially novices) who would
enjoy a safe and fun filled day of
